scholarship oppotunities

I am writing to inform you that the application for the Monbukagakusho Research Studies Scholarship is now available. The MEXT Research Studies Scholarship offers university graduates the opportunity to conduct research in Japan. Studies for this scholarship are conducted at the graduate level and can be used to attain your Master's degree, a PhD or to conduct research work. The scholarship reward includes round-trip airfare, university tuition and fees, and a stipend for monthly living and is generally for a 1.5 to 2 year time period.

Completed applications must be received at the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit by Friday, June 7th and applicants must be available for an interview and testing on Friday, June 21st, 2013. For application forms, guidelines and more detailed information please visit:

今日、ご紹介するのは、回転バーガー！回転バーガーは回転寿司のベルトコンベヤーに寿司ではなく、ハンバーガーが乗って回ってくるという商品をご紹介します。

アメリカ人は、とてもファーストフードが大好き！アメリカ人の４割が一週間に一回はファーストフードを食べ、一人当たり５２個以上のバーカーを一年間でたべていることになります。

日本人は回転寿司が大好き。早くて、安くて、おいしい回転寿司のお店は、いつも人で混んでいます。日本の統計によると、回転寿司店は、全国に３万２千３４０店舗あり、東日本では特に人気があります。

この回転バーガーをどう思うか、町の人に聞いてみましょう。回転バーガーいいと思いませんか？寿司のようにハンバーガーはそんなにいっぱい食べられないですよ！

それについてお答えします。ハンバーガーはスライダーサイズで、比較的小さく食べやすいサイズになっています。その上、ハンバーガーの種類もマクドナルドやバーガーキングのアメリカのハンバーガーだけでなく、日本のモスバーガーや佐世保バーガーなど日本のハンバーガも食べることができるんですよ！

では、もう一人、聞いてみましょう。回転バーガーどう思いますか。ハンバーガーが回転しているんだろう？はい。それじゃ、ハンバーガーを食べるときには、冷たくなっているんじゃない？
